Part of Susan's storyline were Miguel Ferrer playing Andre Zeller, a part-time illustrator who clashes with Susan, [23] Leslie Jordan featuring as Felix Bergman, an art critic interested in Susan's work, and Andrea Bowen returning as Julie Mayer , Susan's daughter who is pregnant with Porter's child.
Part of Lynette's storyline were Andrea Parker portraying Jane Carlson , a love interest for Tom, [24] Max Carver appearing as Preston Scavo , another of Lynette's sons, Patrick Fabian playing Frank, a hairdresser that dates Lynette a couple of times, Reed Diamond portraying Gregg Limon, Tom's boss, and former series regular Dana Delany reprising her role as Katherine Mayfair in the series finale, making Lynette a business proposition.
McCluskey's husband, while Christine Estabrook reappeared in the series finale in a flashback as Martha Huber , the woman that blackmailed Mary Alice.
In the final moments of the series finale, a sequence featuring Susan and her family leaving Wisteria Lane saw many other stars making uncredited cameo appearances as ghosts of characters who died during the course of the series.

Sorry, but this much is obvious. They are writing Gabrielle and Brie out of character this season. Other than these flaws -- which are major, in my opinion -- the series still has its moments.
But the humor is starting to take precedence behind the conflict and mysteries. We draw closer to the non ironic melodrama world of Dynasty and Melrose Place than we were in the first season.
Once, you could have said there was no show with quite the attitude and ambiance of Desperate Housewives first season. Now, you can say that again.
The show we knew is slipping away into mundane sameness, and its unpredictability is becoming too patented and predictable.

For example, in the first season the restaurant Saddle Ranch is featured once, suggesting that the mystery location is either in California or Arizona, where the restaurant has locations.
However, two families, the Applewhites and the Mayfairs had moved from Chicago suggesting that Fairview is near there. Those two cities are very far from each other.
When Renee Vanessa Williams arrives she tells Lynette that she flew all the way across the country to see her. There is also a scene where Suzy is looking for her ex-husband's grandmother's ring.

Susan is mortified but tries her best to comply when her art teacher, Andre Zeller Miguel Ferrer , asks the students to show up to class in the nude in order to help them create from a point of honesty; Bree serves up some delicious, homemade soup for the homeless at the local shelter, but ends up enticing the local hipsters and pushing out those in need.
Witch's Lament. As Halloween approaches, Gaby, Bree and Lynette must attempt to exhume and move the body of Gaby's murdered stepfather after learning that Ben's real estate development excavation is taking place on that very spot.
Always In Control. Bree is stunned when she learns who dug up the body of Gaby's stepfather; jealousy rears its ugly head when Lynette begins to spread untruths to daughter Penny about Tom's new girlfriend.
Gaby and Carlos must convince Lee and Bob that Juanita and Celia aren't the bad seeds that they used to be when they want to name them in their will as guardians.
Suspicion Song. Detective Chuck Vance begins harassing Bree as his suspicions about her involvement in the disappearance of Alejandro grow; after using the murder of Gaby's stepfather as inspiration for her art school projects, Susan must find a way to graciously decline art school teacher Andre's Miguel Ferrer invitation to display and sell her paintings at a gallery showing.
Putting It Together. Gaby, Susan and Lynette begin to panic when Chuck calls them in individually for questioning about the disappearance - and possible murder - of Alejandro.
And Bree's life begins to spiral into despair when her friends abandon her after they blame her for scorning Chuck and causing him to take out his revenge on them.
What's To Discuss, Old Friend. With a gun at her side, Bree prepares to end it all now that her friends have abandoned her and her life continues to spiral further into despair; Gaby begins to suspect that Carlos may have had something to do with Detective Chuck Vance's murder; Susan makes up her mind to go to New York to become a true artist - with or without Mike; and an angry Tom cancels his plans to go to Paris.
Who Can Say What's True? With Carlos still in rehab, Gaby asks for Lynette's help in wooing a high-stakes company to sign with her husband's firm; Renee talks Bree into getting out of the house and having some fun at a pickup bar; in an attempt to ease her guilt, Susan pays a covert visit to Alejandro's family to see how they've been holding up since he went missing.
Bree's life continues to spiral as her alcohol consumption rises -- as does her lust for men; Lynette goes out on her first date since separating with Tom -- with Renee's hairdresser; Alejandro's current wife suspects foul play is afoot and has a confrontation with Susan; Gaby discovers that Alejandro's step-daughter was also abused.
Susan is in for a shock when daughter Julie pays a visit and shows up six months pregnant; Bree's alcohol consumption and lust for men continues to dominate and ruin her life; Lynette's first sexual encounter since separating from Tom doesn't quite end in fireworks; and Gaby's attempt to sooth Juanita when she doesn't receive a Valentine's Day card from a boy she has a crush on backfires.
Get Out Of My Life. Susan discovers the identity of the father of Julie's baby. Orson makes it his duty to nurse Bree back to health.
She Needs Me. Susan tells Porter that she'll set up a nursery and watch over his and Julie's baby after Lynette firmly tells her son that she will not help raise her future granddaughter; Orson convinces Bree to go away with him to the Maine countryside - perhaps never returning to Wisteria Lane; Karen pleads with Gaby not to tell Roy about her condition.
You Take For Granted. Susan convinces Mike to go to the police when she discovers that Ben's loanshark is out to get him; Gaby is justifiably concerned when Carlos exhibits some strange behavior on his first day back to work; Tom's girlfriend, Jane, drops a bombshell on Lynette during Penny's birthday party; and Mrs.
